About Floor Plan to 3D
What if the plan has no dimensions?
Enter one known measurement, such as a door width of 3 ft, and the plan is scaled from that. You can confirm more walls if the drawing is not to scale.
Can I import from SketchUp or AutoCAD?
DWG and DXF files import directly with layers preserved. SketchUp models can be brought in as SKP on the Detailed and Turnkey plans.
How accurate is a hand sketch?
As accurate as the written dimensions on it. The trace straightens lines and squares corners, then shows every wall length so you can check before raising the shell.
Does it handle curved walls?
Yes. Arcs and bay windows are traced as curves and can be edited with handles in the wall editor.
