Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to designers and studio members with an account (you), the clients and collaborators you invite through walkthrough links (your clients), and visitors to this website.

For project content you upload, you decide what is collected and why. We process that content on your behalf to provide the service.

2. What we collect

• Account details: name, work email, studio name, role, city and team size you give us at sign up.
• Project content: floor plans, sketches, photos, 3D models, renders, moodboards, BOQs, vendor price lists, comments and approvals.
• Client interactions: names commenters choose to enter, comments, approvals and walkthrough link activity such as opens and rooms viewed.
• Billing details: plan, seat count, invoices and tax identifiers. Card data is handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
• Technical data: browser type, device, IP address and usage events used to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use it

• To build 3D rooms, render images and generate boards and BOQs from your projects.
• To deliver walkthrough links and notify you of client comments and approvals.
• To send login details, service messages and, if you opt in, product updates.
• To prevent abuse, investigate problems and improve reliability and render speed.

4. Your designs are not training data for others

Designs, plans and client projects belong to you. They are never used to train AI models for other customers. Custom styles trained on your portfolio stay private to your workspace and are deleted when you remove them.

5. Walkthrough links

Walkthrough links are unlisted and only open for people who have the link. You can add a passcode, set an expiry and revoke a link at any time, after which its content is no longer accessible through that link.

Prices, vendor names and internal notes are hidden from links unless you choose to share them.

6. Sharing with service providers

We use carefully selected providers for cloud hosting, GPU rendering, email delivery and payments. They process data only on our instructions and under contracts that require confidentiality and security. We do not sell personal data.

7. Storage and security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access by our staff is limited, logged and only for support or security reasons. Renders and project files are stored in secured cloud storage with regular backups.

8. Retention

Project content is kept while your account is active. When you delete a project it is removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days. If you close your account, you can export your work first; we then delete it on the same schedule.

9. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct or export your account data and project content at any time from the studio.
• Delete individual projects, renders or your whole account.
• Unsubscribe from product emails while keeping essential service messages.
• Ask us to explain how your data or your client’s data is processed by writing through the Design Lounge page.

10. Website forms

When you sign up or send a message through this website, we receive the details you enter so we can create your workspace or reply to you. A simple sum check and a hidden field help us block automated spam. We use a session cookie only to verify that check.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify account owners by email and in the studio before they take effect.
